Driver Injured When Pumpkin Hits SUV In Harvard

LEOMINSTER (CBS4) ― State Police are looking for the suspects who threw several pumpkins off Route 2 overpasses in Harvard, Littleton and Templeton early Friday morning.

One pumpkin, thrown off the Poor Farm Road overpass in Harvard, hit the windshield of a sport-utility vehicle around 12:15 a.m. The driver, a 30-year-old Acton man, was treated at the scene for minor injuries. His female passenger was not hurt.

A short time later, State Police received reports of pumpkins being thrown off the Whitcomb Road overpass in Littleton.

At 1:25 a.m., more pumpkins were thrown from the South Main Street overpass in Templeton. No vehicles were hit during either of these incidents.
