Jordan's Furniture's promotion in April promised to reimburse customers for certain furniture should the Red Sox win the World Series.

Along with bragging rights, some Red Sox fans have a lot riding on a possible World Series win for the team.
What might have seemed like a long shot back in April could turn out to be a monster deal for some of the Fenway faithful after a Jordan's Furniture promotion promised free furniture to customers back in April.
Pat Donovan has an extra reason to root for the Red Sox this year. If they win the World Series-- he'll get the couch he bought in April for free.
"As you watch them, you're saying, 'I can get the couch for nothing,'" Donovan said.
Donovan is one of almost 30,000 people who jumped on Jordan's Furniture's monster deal promotion back in April.
The promotion, pitched by Jordan's Eliot Tatelman, said anyone who bought sofas, dining room tables, sectionals, beds and mattresses during a week in April, will get the furniture for free should the Red Sox win this year's World Series. Tatelman now calls it the most fun promotion he's ever done.
"It's reached the point that wherever I go, whether it's a restaurant, or I'm stopped in the street, it's, 'I bought a mattress from you or a sofa from you and with the Red Sox, I'm gonna have this free,'" Tatelman said.
Chris Walter sports an Ortiz jersey and more than a little envy for anyone who bought any of that furniture back in April.
"I really wish I had now. I mean golly, a new couch? Who couldn't use a new couch?" Walter said.
Tatelman won't put a dollar amount on the furniture that was sold under the promotion and could ultimately be given away. But Jordan's won't lose any money because it's all insured.
"I would never have done this if I was going to root against the Red Sox. We're diehard fans here at Jordan's," Tatelman said.
Should the Red Sox win the World Series, customers will only have until Dec. 1 to mail in their rebates.
