MIT 'Hackers' Put Red Line Car On Dome

CAMBRIDGE (WBZ) ― MIT's Great Dome has been hit by pranksters again.

This time, they've put up a fake Red Line MBTA car with solar panels on the dome's outer edge.

The pranks – done by "hackers" – are usually pulled off in the middle of the night by underclassmen in a campus tradition.

In the past, a police car was put on the dome.

It was also turned into a giant R2D2 from Star Wars back in 1999.
