A father accused of stabbing and killing a woman in her Lynn home, then triggering an Amber Alert last week was ordered held without bail Monday.
Rodlyn Petitbois, 25, pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree murder and assault and battery in Lynn District Court.
Petitbois is charged with murder in connection with the death of Greenland Etienne, 33, last Wednesday.
Police say Petitbois stabbed Etienne during a fight in her home, then fled to New York City with his girlfriend and their four young children. An Amber Alert was issued and Petitbois was arrested Wednesday night in Brooklyn. The children were found safe.
Authorities first believed the girlfriend, Louna Eveillard, was kidnapped along with her children by Petitbois. She was arrested Friday in New York on charges that she helped him flee from police.
