Three local officials will visit Taunton's Whittenton Mills Dam on Wednesday tour the structure and receive a briefing from the city's mayor, Robert Nunes.

Senators Kerry and Kennedy, along with Congressman Barney Frank have been keeping in close contact with Nunes and other officials on the situation in Taunton, Greenfield and North Adams.
