Snowmobiler Killed On Route 84

STURBRIDGE (WBZ) ―

A snowmobiler riding on a highway was killed when he collided with a car carrier early Friday morning, state police said.

The accident happened around 1 a.m. on Route 84 in Sturbridge.

State police say the snowmobile driver crashed head on with a car carrier traveling in the opposite direction.

The identity of the snowmobiler has not been released.

The driver of the truck, Victor Perez-Santiago, 31, of Lowell was treated for minor injuries.
