Approximately 30 tall ships are expected to sail to Boston this summer.

The city of Boston has fired the latest shot in its ongoing battle with Sail Boston over the Tall Ships this summer.
Mayor Tom Menino says the city doesn't have the $1 million required to cover safety costs for this year's event.
If Sail Boston doesn't pay, the public might not get the chance to board the ships this time around.
That's because Menino says the Tall Ships will be forced to dock in an area closed to the public.
Sail Boston is scheduled to take place from July 8-13.
Boston is one of seven official host ports that takes part in the
Tall Ships Atlantic Challenge.
