Cause Of Weymouth Fire May Be Accidental
WEYMOUTH (WBZ) ―
Three firefighters were injured while battling a massive fire in Weymouth on Sunday.
According to fire officials, the three-alarm blaze broke out at a home on Worster Terrace, just off Prospect Street shortly before 6 p.m.
The building is a 150-year-old home with a garage; and was just days away from an owner ship change.
According to investigators, the fire appears to be accidental. Initial reports led officials to believe arson was the cause.
One firefighter was hospitalized after experiencing chest pains, another was treated for a knee injury and another for a separated shoulder.
