Eleven Years On The Run For Whitey Bulger

BOSTON (CBS4) ― Its been eleven years since notorious Boston gangster James "Whitey" Bulger took off.

The former crime boss disappeared in January of 1995 after being tipped off by FBI agent John Connolly that he was about to be indicted on racketeering charges. He's been since charged with 18 murders.

Federal and state law enforcement officials say they're still hunting for the 76-year-old fugitive. They investigated leads in at least 19 countries last year.

The FBI is still offering a $1,000,000 reward for information leading to Bulger's capture.
