Coast Guard Searches For Owner Of Abandoned Kayak

  The Coast Guard is looking for the owner of a kayak found abandoned in the area of Carr Island in the Merrimack River near Salisbury.

Officials say their concern is that the owner may have been lost in the water.

The yellow kayak is a 12-foot Acadia Perception with serial No. WB1223377G000.

It has the words "For Instructional Use Only" written on the side.

Anyone with knowledge of who the owner might be is asked to contact Coast Guard at 617-223-3201.
