$5K Reward Offered For Arrest Of Cat Killer
ACUSHNET (WBZ) ―
A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that will lead the arrest of the person responsible for killing a cat in Acushnet using a bow and arrow.
The cat, named Cali, was hit with a hunting arrow the past weekend. The arrow entered the cat's hind quarter and traveled through the length of his body.
The cat did undergo extensive surgery, but did not survive. "This is a heinous act of cruelty against an animal that won't be tolerated," said Officer Christopher Charbonneau of the Animal Rescue League of Boston's Law Enforcement Department.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 617-226-5610 or 617-426-9170.
