103 Plants Seized In Agawam Pot Bust

AGAWAM, Mass. (WBZ) ― Two men were arrested after state police found 103 high-grade marijuana plants inside a large marijuana grow operation in Agawam.

Officials raided the building at 1779 Main Street Friday afternoon, seizing the plants along with 44 grow lights and two 50-kilowatt generators, police said.

They also found several vehicles, including a Corvette, Ford Explorer, an Indian Chief Motorcycle, a boat and two snowmobiles, that officials believe were bought with money made from selling drugs.

Mark Danalis, 46, and 55-year-old Bryan Clark were arrested in connection with the pot operation.

They each face several drug charges. Clark also faces gun charges, including possession of an unlicensed handgun and 11 counts of improper storage of weapons.

Danalis was being held Friday on $20,000 bail. He is scheduled to be arraigned Monday.

Clark was being held on $5,000 bail and is also set to be arraigned Monday.
