Fire Torches Amherst Shopping Center

AMHERST, N.H. (WBZ) ― A raging fire ripped through the Amherst Plaza shopping center Thursday, forcing several fire crews from nearby towns to respond to help knock the blaze out.

The 4- to 5-alarm fire broke out at the shopping center on Route 101A Thursday evening.

Merrimack fire officials said no injuries have been reported.

The cause of the blaze is unknown.
