WBZ has learned that a second settlement deal in the big dig tunnel wrongful death suit could be close.
Sources said three companies will likely pay a total of $4 million to Milena Del Valle's family.
The companies had nothing to do with the tunnel construction.
They were involved in the distribution of the epoxy that failed to hold up the concrete tiles that fell and killed Del Valle in 2006.
Powers Fasteners, the company that made the glue, has already settled with the family and they are the only company facing criminal charges.
