Kids Hurt In Boys, Girls Club Van Crash

SALSBURY (WBZ) ― Several children were injured Friday afternoon when the Boys and Girls Club van they were riding in crashed in Salsbury.

The two-car wreck happened on Route 1 near Route 286 around 3:30 p.m. One person was airlifted to a Boston hospital with unknown injuries.

Several other people, including children were taken to area hospitals.

The extent of the victims' injuries are unknown.

Crews were able to clear the scene and the roadway has been reopened.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
