Sawed-Off Shotgun, Cocaine Found In Braintree Home

After applying for a search warrant, police say they found a rifle under a bed in an upstairs bedroom and a sawed-off shotgun and two handguns under a mattress.

A Braintree man is under arrest and faces several charges after police allegedly found drugs and several guns at his home Sunday morning.
Police received a tip from a friend of 26-year-old Marc Bellino's girlfriend. The report indicated there was a problem at 11 Zana Park Dr., where he Bellino lives with his parents.
Officers said they entered the home and found Bellino.
While searching for other people inside, police allegedly found cocaine, an electronic scale and a razor. Police say Bellino then showed them additional cocaine that was hidden in the ceiling.
According to a police report, Bellino also told police he had several guns hidden in the home that he did not have a permit for.
After applying for a search warrant, police say they found a rifle under a bed in an upstairs bedroom and a sawed-off shotgun and two handguns under a mattress.
Police say they also found more cocaine packaged for resale in the ceiling and in a bedroom nightstand.
Bellino was placed under arrest. He faces several drug and weapons charges and will be arraigned in Quincy District Court on Monday.
A conviction on a charge of possession of a sawed-off shotgun carries with is the possibility of a life sentence.
