Police Search For Brazen Grab-And-Run Robbers

BOSTON (WBZ) ― Police from all over Massachusetts are searching for three brazen thieves who have walked into several stores, grabbed armfuls of merchandise and then run out.

In an incident in Hanover on March 3, two men stole over $4,000 from a Macy's store in the Hanover Mall. Police said the men walked into the store, grabbed Nautical clothing items and walked out. They fled in a silver Nissan Altima 4-door sedan.

Police believe the same thieves, along with a third person, robbed a Kohl's store in Burlington earlier this week, stealing about $5,200 worth of merchandise. Surveillance video shows the thieves grabbing 52 Cooperstown jerseys right off full racks near the door. Store officials estimate the jerseys were each worth about $100.

They were so quick that employees didn't immediately notice the thefts.  However, one employee was able to get a license plate number.

The same thieves are also believed to have hit up a Macy's store at the North Shore Mall on March 18. In that case, the thieves stole Guess Jeans by the armload before running out the door.

Police say the thieves first canvas the stores and then pull up at the curb, making the grab and then a run for it in the same silver Nissan sedan.

Police said with pictures, the car and a license plate number they believe they know who they are looking for.

Anyone with information is asked to contact local authorities.
