BU Student Dies In Sleep At Her NJ Home

BOSTON (WBZ) ― A Boston University senior was found dead in her bed in Upper Saddle River, NJ over the weekend, according to Bergen County police. Officials believe she died in her sleep. She was found on Sunday afternoon. 

BU Today reports that Victoria Rubino, 22, had gone home to get her wisdom teeth taken out and was prescribed Tylenol with codeine for the pain.

According to the paper, it is unclear if the Tylenol played a role in the senior's death.

The paper spoke with several students who said Rubino was a fun-loving and outgoing young woman.

Counselors will be available at Student Health Services. A 24-hour counseling hotline (617-353-3569) will also be taking calls.
