Robber Hits Up Natick Bank

NATICK, Mass. (WBZ) ― Natick Police are searching for a man who robbed the Citizen's Bank on Main Street Tuesday morning.

Police said the robber, who was sporting a Boston Red Sox ball cap, passed a note to a bank teller demanding cash. No weapon was shown.

Police said the robber had a strong, overpowering odor of cigarettes on him.

He is described as a white man in his 30s or 40s. He is said to be 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall and was wearing a blue zip-up jacket, which was the same color as a letter carrier uniform. He was also wearing a dark colored scarf, wire framed reading glasses, gloves and several layers of clothes.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the Natick Police Department at 508-647-9520.
