Boston Commuters Making Their Own Traffic Reports

BOSTON (WBZ) ―

Where can you turn for updated information about delayed commuter trains?

How about your fellow commuters. A New York man frustrated with train service on the New Jersey transits has brought his idea to Boston.

The system, called "Clever Commute," allows riders to sign up for information alerts and commuters can send out messages about the day's train service.

The MBTA also provides T-alerts on service, but some say they would appreciate a commuter's perspective.
