Two Kazakhstan nationals are charged with counterfeiting on the Cape.

Police seized more than $700 worth of fake $20 bills, a counterfeit $100 bill and equipment for printing the phony cash from an apartment in Chatham.

Alexandr Kustovskiy, 21, and 19-year-old Alibek Tailakov face numerous charges, including possessing and manufacturing counterfeit currency.

They are being held on $5,000 cash bail each and are scheduled to be arraigned in Orleans District Court on Monday.
