Police have cited a 93-year-old man who
crashed his car through the front of a Danvers Wal-Mart last month, sending a 1-year-old girl and five others to the hospital.
Louis Vesprini of Peabody has been charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle in the June 2 crash.
He will be summonsed to Salem District Court where a clerk magistrate will determine whether to go forward with the charge.
No court date has been scheduled.
Vesprini faces a maximum of two years in jail if convicted.
He drove his Toyota Camry between protective concrete pillars, through the glass doors and 40 feet into the store before stopping.
A mother and her 1-year-old daughter were hurt.
Three store employees and Vesprini's wife also needed treatment.

Police say Vesprini was looking for a handicapped parking spot when he apparently hit the gas pedal instead of the brake.
His driver's license was revoked.
