Time is running out to bid the Red Sox jersey that was once buried in the New York Stadium by a Boston fan in an attempt to place a curse on the rival team.
The bid on the jersey was more than $70,000 Monday evening.
The auction will benefit the Jimmy Fund at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
The shirt was buried in concrete by a fan from New York who worked on a crew building the New York Yankees' new stadium in the Bronx.
It was dug up after the Yankees first declared reports of its existence was an April Fool's joke.
EBay bidding ends in just over two days.
The Yankees said it cost about $30,000 to dig up the shirt.
