The car crashed into a tree that has now been set up as a makeshift memorial for the three young Mass. residents who were killed.

A 31-year-old Florida man is being charged with drunk driving in an overnight crash that killed three young Massachusetts residents in Walpole.
Police officials say Jason Wayne Spurlin was driving a car with three passengers along East Street around 1 a.m. when he lost control and crashed.
All three of his passengers were killed.
They are identified as 20-year-olds Nicholas Kelly and Anna Dubois, both of Walpole, and 23-year-old Amanda Murray, of Medfield.
Two were pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck, and one was MedFlighted to a Boston hospital before being pronounced.
Spurlin is being charged with three counts of motor vehicle homicide by OUI.
He is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday in Wrentham District Court. Spurlin was injured in the wreck, and he was taken to a Boston hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening.
HOLIDAY WEEKEND TURNS DEADLY
It has been a deadly holiday weekend in Massachusetts with
four fatal wrecks overnight.
Three other people were killed in a crash in Attleboro.
A 4-car wreck in Quincy killed one person. The violent collision at the intersection of East Howard and Quincy Avenue left two vehicles turned upside down.
Speed is believed to be a factor in a fatal crash in Sudbury. A driver was killed when his car crashed on Route 20.
State police are holding a news conference Saturday afternoon to discuss the high number of crashes so far this holiday weekend.
