Boston PD Investigates Overnight Double Shooting
DORCHESTER (WBZ) ―
Boston police say it was a night of violence after a young man and woman were shot overnight, and another man was shot in a separate incident in Dorchester.
The double shooting happened on Calder Street in Dorchester around 1:30 a.m. Boston police officials said the woman was shot in the hip and taken to Boston Medical Center. She's expected to be OK.
The man also suffered non life-threatening injuries.
Elsewhere, a 29-year-old man was was shot in the chest at the Franklin Field Housing development on Ames Street around 2:30 a.m. He was rushed to Carney Hospital with critical injuries and was later pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made in the shootings.
