Shooting Puts Dorchester School In 'Safe Mode'
DORCHESTER (WBZ) ―
A shooting in Dorchester put a school in "safe mode" Tuesday afternoon.
The shooting happened at Geneva Ave. and Westville Street, which is near the Marshall Middle School.
The victim was rushed to Boston Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The shooter is still at large.
The school was put in safe mode as a precaution. No one inside the building was injured.
Marshall Middle School is a polling place for Tuesday's election. It appears voting was not interrupted.
