WBZ's Curran, Hughes, Ebben In DeNiro, Gibson Film

ROSLINDALE (WBZ) ― A few of WBZ-TV's own are appearing in the Roslindale-filmed "Edge of Darkness" starring Mel Gibson and Robert De Niro.

I-Team's Kathy Curran and anchors Lisa Hughes and Paula Ebben have cameos in the film.

Curran was on the set in Roslindale Friday to shoot scenes with her as a TV crime reporter.

According to imdb.com, the "Edge of Darkness" is about a homicide detective who, as he investigates the death of his activist daughter, he uncovers her secret life and a corporate cover-up.
