There is yet another accident involving an elderly driver in Massachusetts.
Medfield police say 83-year old Anne Johnson hit two children and their grandmother near a crosswalk in front of St. Edwards Church on Spring Street around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Johnson had just left 9 a.m. Mass at the church. Investigators say when she turned left she hit the grandmother, 5-year old Max Lodkin who was holding her hand, and 2-year old Timothy Lodkin who was in a stroller.
"I ran away from the car. He (my brother) was in the stroller and he fall down," says Max.
Timothy is being treated for injuries at Children's Hospital in Boston.
Anne Johnson was not hurt. Officers say she was composed and allowed to go home.
"I touched the stroller, that's what happened. I jammed on my brakes," she told WBZ's Dawn Hasbrouck.
The Registry of Motor Vehicles has revoked her license and considers her an immediate threat.
Johnson's driving history is nearly spotless. Records from the Registry show she was involved in one other accident back in 1993 in which she was found at fault.
No charges have been filed at this point in the investigation.
