Neil Entwistle's parents and brother arrived for their son's murder trial in Middlesex Superior Court Tuesday as the challenging task of picking a jury resumed.
The British man is accused of killing his wife and infant daughter in their rented Hopkinton home in January 2006.
17 people have been named qualified jurors so far, which means they have advanced to the next round of screening.
Many potential jurors have already indicated they had seen news reports about the sensational case and believe Entwistle is guilty.
Twelve jurors and four alternates must be picked.
Entwistle waved briefly to his father Clifford, his mother Yvonne, and brother Russell when he saw them in court Tuesday.
