Woman: Potential Jurors Said Entwistle Should Fry

WOBURN (AP) ― The judge in Neil Entwistle's murder trial has denied a motion to dismiss the case after a woman claimed other potential jurors said Entwistle should "fry."

Defense attorney Elliot Weinstein made the motion Wednesday after the woman from Medford told the court other jurors talking in line said, "Fry him and send him away."

The Boston Herald reports the woman was immediately disqualified, then Weinstein unsuccessfully asked Superior Court Judge Diane Kottmyer to dismiss the case.

Outside court, Weinstein blasted the judge's refusal to grant his motion, saying there's "no possibility at all" that Entwistle can get a fair trial.
The 29-year-old Entwistle is accused of murdering his wife and baby girl in their rented Hopkinton home in January 2006, then fleeing to England.
