Victim's Stepfather Reveals Talks With Entwistle

View: Major Players In Entwistle Trial

WOBURN (AP) ― The stepfather of a slain woman said the accused shooter asked that his wife and baby be buried together because "that's the way I left them."

Neil Entwistle is charged in the January 2006 killings of his wife, Rachel and their 9-month-old daughter, Lillian Rose in their Hopkinton home.

Rachel Entwistle's stepfather, Joseph Matterazzo, testified Monday in the double-murder trial that Neil Entwistle called him from England several times after the killings. In one conversation, Matterazzo said Entwistle at first said he wanted them buried together because "that's the way I left them," then said "that's the way I found them."

Entwistle claims he returned from doing errands to find his family dead, then in anguish returned to England without calling police.
