Marine Killed In Afghanistan Laid To Rest On Cape

A Marine whose parents live on Cape Cod was laid to rest Saturday.
A funeral Mass for Capt. Eric Jones was held in the morning at the John Wesley United Methodist Church in Falmouth.
He was then buried at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
Jones was 29 years old.
He grew up in Pound Ridge, N.Y., but spent his summers on the Cape.
His parents, Kenneth and Cynthia, moved to Mashpee year-round in 2005.
Jones died in an Oct. 26 helicopter crash in Afghanistan.
He was stationed at Camp Pendleton, Calif., where he was part of Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 169.
