Foxboro police were very busy at the Patriots-Jets game Sunday.
Police Chief Edward O'Leary told
the Sun Chronicle that they took 78 fans into custody for drunk and disorderly conduct.
13 of them face criminal charges.
O'Leary speculated that in blowout games, some fans lose interest and concentrate on other things that get them into trouble.
So many fans were taken into custody that some were kept temporarily in prison transport vans, while the rest were in the holding facility at Gillette Stadium and the cells at the police station.
