One person was killed in a violent 4-car collision at a Quincy intersection.

Eight people were killed overnight in four separate car wrecks, police officials say.
4 EJECTED FROM CAR IN ATTLEBORO
Three people were killed and another was seriously injured in an early-morning crash in Attleboro. The wreck happened on Route 95 North at Exit 3.
Police say 23-year-old Gleidson Pereira was driving a Mazda sedan in the right lane when the vehicle lost control, went off the side of the road, rolled over and hit several tree stumps.
None of the four people in the car were wearing seat belts, and all of them were ejected during the crash, police say.
Pereira and two of his passengers, 27-year-old Ivanildo De Souza and 29-year-old Lavdeir De Silva, were killed at the scene. Samuel Torres-Mendez, 29, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital.
All four victims are from Plymouth.
State police ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact them at 508-543-8550.

Three people were killed in a single car crash in Walpole. Police say that wreck happened around 1 a.m. on East Street.

Florida man is being charged with drunk driving and motor vehicle homicide in the wreck.

4-CAR COLLISION TURNS DEADLY IN QUINCY
One person was killed and another was critically injured in a four-car collision in Quincy around midnight.
The wreck happened at East Howard and Quincy Avenue. An SUV and a car were both turned upside down in the middle of the intersection.
No names have been released.
SPEED A FACTOR IN FATAL SUDBURY CRASH
A driver was killed in an early-morning crash in Sudbury. Police say the lone driver crashed his car on Route 20 near a Dunkin' Donuts around 6:18 a.m.
It appears speed was a factor in the crash, police say.
State police are holding a news conference Saturday afternoon to discuss the high number of crashes so far this holiday weekend.
