BOSTON (WBZ) ― A court hearing was held Wednesday about the release of results from toxicology tests from two Boston firefighters killed in a West Roxbury fire, which include testing for drugs and alcohol.

As expected, the autopsy found that Cahill and Payne died from smoke inhalation and burns suffered during the fire, but no further details were released.

The Boston Fire Department released a statement Wednesday night saying they are aware of Wednesday's hearing but would not comment until they see the reports.

Boston Mayor Thomas Menino's office said he is waiting for results of the district attorney's investigation.

Both Menino and the Boston Fire Department said their thoughts remain with the men's families.
