Forecast Looks Good For Fireworks
BOSTON (WBZ) ―
The forecast is looking good for the big Fourth of July Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular on the Esplanade.
WBZ meteorologist Ken Barlow says there will be no rain for the festivities Friday night.
The only area seeing precipitation at this point is Nantucket. According to Barlow, it is expected to stay rainy there for the next few hours. Spots along the south coast could also get a little wet before the night is over.
But the big show, of course, is the 35th annual Boston Pops concert on the Esplanade. It is expected to stay dry and in the high 60s for the entire evening. There could be some clouds by 9:30 p.m., but by the time the fireworks go off, conditions are going to be ideal.
If you can't get to the Esplanade, watch the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular on WBZ-TV, hosted by Lisa Hughes and Jack Williams. You can also catch the fireworks live on
