Some Sun In The Fourth Of July Forecast

BOSTON (WBZ) ― So will the sun make an appearance for the 4th of July weekend, after hiding in the clouds for most of the summer?

The answer is yes.

After a bit of sunshine early Friday, WBZ meteorologists say you can expect the threat of storms up until 8 p.m. Temperatures will be in the 70's.

The weather will get better as the weekend moves on.

There will be sun and clouds Saturday, with the chance of a few midday storms between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Temperatures will be near 80.

The good news – it will be fine for the evening and all of those fireworks displays.

There will be plenty of sun on Sunday, a storm-free day in the low 80's.
