Another Person Charged In Super Bowl Ring Heist

PETERSHAM (WBZ) ― A Petersham, Massachusetts man has been placed under arrest in connection to a $2 million heist at an Attleboro jewelry manufacturer last year that included the theft of 27 New York Giants Super Bowl rings.

David Nassor, 40, was arrested Friday morning and charged with receiving stolen property valued at more than $250, police said. While searching Nassor's house, police say they found one of the stolen rings, gold ingots (gold melted into a mold), and other evidence that he possessed stolen property from the June robbery at E.A. Dion Inc.

In January, police found 27 New York Giants Super Bowl rings, valued at more than $170,000, in a safe deposit box in Saugus. Kristen Sullivan, 22, who allegedly rented the box, was arraigned on charges of receiving stolen property.

Forty-four-year-old Sean Murphy of Lynn was also arrested and charged with receiving stolen property earlier this year. He pleaded not guilty and was ordered held on $250,000 bail.

According to court documents, police found one of the stolen Super Bowl rings in Murphy's bedroom, jewelry in his car, and rare coins in a bank safe deposit box.

Nassor will be arraigned on Monday in Attleboro District Court.
