Cop Accused Of Threatening Daughter-In-Law
GLOUCESTER (WBZ) ―
Gloucester mayor Carolyn Kirk is promising disciplinary action after a police officer was allegedly overheard on his cell phone making a threat against his daughter-in-law.
Lt. Michael O'Hanley, a veteran officer on the Gloucester force, allegedly threatened "to go in there and bust the windows" -- even suggesting he'd hire someone to carry out the crime, against Ali O'Hanley who's in the middle of a bitter divorce with the lieutenant's son, Rob.
The call was accidentally transmitted over the officer's two-way radio while he was on the job at a paid detail.
Kirk said a decision on disciplinary action will be made in the next day or two.
O'Hanley is currently on a previously scheduled two-week vacation.
