Reporters might not be allowed into a series of meetings in Gloucester next month to discuss the teen pregnancy controversy in town that's gained international attention.
WBZ Radio has learned Gloucester Mayor Carolyn Kirk wants to ban all media from all three of the meetings.
Town and school officials are trying to decide whether the high school should make contraceptives available to students.
Gloucester's attorneys are looking into whether the reporter ban would violate the state's open meeting law.
Kirk doesn't believe it would be illegal, because the meetings are privately funded.
