Goatee Bank Robber Wanted For 7 Local Heists

BOSTON (WBZ) ― Have you seen this man?

If you have - or if you know who he is - the FBI wants to hear from you.

The so-called "goatee bank robber" has struck seven times at banks in Allston, Brighton, Somerville, Cambridge, Brookline, and Arlington in the last six months.

Investigators say he robbed the Citizens Bank on Beacon St. in Brighton twice - in January and again in March.

His most recent heist was June 5 at the People's Federal Savings Bank on North Harvard Ave. in Allston.

He's described as white, between 20 and 30 years old, 5'8" to 6'1", about 180 pounds with dark hair and sunken cheeks. In each incident he's had a large black goatee that is possibly fake.

The FBI said he usually passes a note to the teller and then asks for the note back. He has occasionally threatened to take a hostage.
