Grinding, similiar to dancing displayed in the film "Dirty Dancing," is the topic of conversation at Exeter High School where 19 students were kicked out of a school dance.

Students at Exeter High School in New Hampshire believe it's a generational thing.
Their style of dancing has sparked controversy over whether it's too sexual and suggestive.
It's called grinding. The school principal believes it's very uncomfortable to watch, but students say they're just moving to a beat.
"When Elvis Presley was big and did the hip swing parents freaked out. This is kind of the same thing," said student Christine Hammon.
"We watch VH1 and MTV, it's what we see," added student Katelyn Ellis.
It's what they see, but it's what they're doing that prompted the principal to set up a forum at the high school Wednesday night, inviting students, parents and teachers to share their thoughts.
"It goes against community values, and what I value and stand for as principal of this school, " said Victor Sokul.
He cancelled the March dance after 19 students were asked to leave a dance in February when they refused to stop "grinding".
Now based on this discussion, and what boundaries are agreed to, he'll make a decision about future dances.
"I don't want to be out there with a protractor to measure bending. I can't do it," Sokul said.
Because of the stand he has taken, Sokul says other schools are now watching Exeter to see what kind of policy is set.
