Haverhill Residents Embark On Graveyard Ghost Hunt
HAVERHILL (WBZ) ―
Some celebrated ghost-hunters set their sights on a Haverhill cemetery Saturday night to search for signs of paranormal activity.
Three hundred years ago, early settlers in Haverhill were murdered. Now a small group of ghost hunters have come to the Pentucket Burial Ground in Haverhill in hopes to make contact.
British astrologer David Wells and former host of the television show "Most Haunted" has been seeking the ghost for years. "We are looking for energy ghostly energy whatever we can ...its all about how it makes you feel."
On Saturday, Wells -- along with the New England Ghost Project -- led a seminar for people interested in making contact Haverhill past settlers.
"The more I do it the more I realize there are things out there," said Ron Kolek of Haverhill. "There are dangers because your dealing with the dead so really don't know what to expect."
There were no real ghost sightings on Saturday, but they say there is a lot of energy inside the 300-year-old burial ground.
The group of ghost hunters has been visiting sites throughout New England, which are believed to be haunted in search of ghosts.
