Suspicious Powder Found On MBTA Bus Was Chalk

The substance found on a bus at the Haymarket station Tuesday morning was chalk, MBTA Transit Police said.
According to officials, an unidentified bus driver found some unknown powder on the dashboard and called authorities. The driver was examined at Boston Medical Center, and later released.
There was no one else on the bus at the time.
A hazardous materials team was called in to examine the bus. The MBTA said there were no delays in service.
