The FBI, state and local police are looking for a bank robber who threw officers off with a fake bomb threat Friday morning.
Investigators say a man called in a bomb threat to the
South Elementary School and when officers responded to the fake call, he robbed the Randolph Savings Bank on South Franklin Street, which is about a mile-and-a-half away
The thief drove off in a stolen pickup truck, which was later found burning on Water Street, about a mile away from the bank.

Officers, search dogs and a State Police helicopter are scouring the area for the man.
Investigators say he is described as a white male between 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10 and weighed about 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a hunter green windbreaker jacket.
Police say they believe the robber had another car waiting or possibly an accomplice to help him get away after ditching the stolen truck.
They have retrieved an image from a security camera, but they need to enhance it to get a better look at it.
