Enjoy The Heat! Get Outside This Weekend

This weekend, Massachusetts will be getting a much-needed taste of summer. Temperatures are expected to
soar into the 80s on Saturday and Sunday.
So dust off your shorts, break out the flip-flops, pile on the sun block and get outside! And since it's been ages since you've had to think of fun activities to do in the sun, here are a couple of suggestions:
Go For A Hike: Mass.gov has a list of several hiking trails across the state.
Daffodil Festival: Check out over three million daffodils in bloom on Nantucket for free!
Hit The Beach: Take advantage of the heat and hit some of the state's beaches!
Sheep Shearing Festival: Head to Waltham for demonstrations on sheep shearing, spinning, weaving, herding dogs, and more. The family can also go on a wagon ride and check out farm animals.
DCR Park Serve Day: Volunteer to help get at more than 50 parks and beaches across the state cleaned and ready for the summer.
Big Apple Circus: The circus is in town! Head to Boston and check out the big tent in City Hall Plaza.
Earth Day at the Zoo: Head to the Franklin Park Zoo to celebrate Earth Day.
Boston Chocolate Tour: A three hour tour of chocolate goodness in the city. Visit some of Boston's most popular restaurants and get your own chocolate making lesson.
BeerFest: Head to Worcester for a night of beer tasting at the Higgins Armory Museum.
Botanical Garden: In honor of Earth Day, head to Framingham to check out a 45-acre botanical garden museum that features more than 1,000 native plant species.
Folk Festival: The New England Folk Festival is a three-day event that features over 1,000 musicians, performers, artisans and craftspeople.
