Two Stabbed At Brighton IHOP Restaurant

BOSTON (WBZ) ― Two people were stabbed at an IHOP in Brighton Saturday.

Boston police said a restaurant employee went after a co-worker with a knife in the kitchen. When a third employee intervened, he was cut in the hand. The intended victim was then stabbed in the abdomen.

None of the injuries was life-threatening, police said, although the man stabbed in the abdomen underwnt surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital.

Police arrested Victelio Mendoza of Brighton. He will be arraigned Monday, they said.
