Varitek Raffling Off Fourth Of July Catching Gear

BOSTON (WBZ) ― How would you like to have some of Jason Varitek's catching equipment?

He's raffling off his custom-made Fourth of July chest protector, mask and shin guards.

Varitek will give the autographed gear to the winner before the Red Sox-Tigers game August 10th at Fenway Park.

The winner will also get four tickets to the game and a VIP tour of Fenway.

Tickets are $2 each, but you must buy a minimum of five tickets.

The raffle closes Monday August 3 at 11 a.m.

Proceeds will benefit the Celebrities for Charity Foundation.
