Jimmy Fund Patient Gets Ride In Goodyear Blimp

BOSTON (WBZ) ― A young woman with leukemia was able to get her mind off treatment as she soared above the South Shore as a guest on the Goodyear Blimp Thursday.

Andrea Moore, 17, of Sherborn, who has Downs Syndrome, is fighting her second battle with ALL – a form of leukemia. Her 19-year-old sister was treated for the same illness when she was 2-years old.

The trip was organized by Sullivan Tire.

The company brings the Goodyear Blimp to Massachusetts every year to offer a private ride to a patient from the Jimmy Fund.
