Looking For A Job? Here's Who Is Hiring

BOSTON (WBZ) ― We've all heard about the layoffs, but some Massachusetts companies, like Constant Contact, are still hiring. The Waltham company has 26 open positions, and says they can't fill them fast enough.

The positions include a Director of Marketing, as well as engineering, product management, and finance. Constant Contact is an email marketing company which helps small businesses sent email newsletters to customers for $15 to $30 a month.

CEO Gail Goodman has been with the company since the start. "We're still finding customers and we need to grow the team to make sure those customers are successful.

Chris Litster, who works in marketing, says, "Our product makes it so easy for our customers, small businesses, to look like one of the big guys."

Recruiting experts say Constant Contact isn't alone in hiring. Brendan King of King and Bishop in Waltham says strong areas of job growth in Massachusetts are in medical devices, like defibrillator and stent manufacturers, life science companies that conduct clinical trials, and renewable energy companies, including those that manufacture solar components.

Kings says the federal stimulus plan could bring more green energy jobs in the next three to six months.

Constant Contact started in 1995 and went public in 2007. They have 450 employees, most are based in Waltham, but 35 work at a call center in Colorado to service the West Coast.
